Saying goodbye to your pet is always one of the hardest things anyone could ever go through. No matter how much time you spent together, even if it’s a single day or an hour, it still hits you harder than ever every time.

Many living beings can sense their deaths shortly before passing away, it’s almost as if their bodies let them know that their time is about to run out and they just act accordingly, and it’s pretty visible in their behavior.

Cats are quite popular for this behavior, and many cat parents can confirm this information. They basically show you in their own way that they will be leaving soon and then make sure to let you know how much they truly love and appreciate you.

Reddit user u/zCozzy felt as if her cat informed her that she will soon be passing away due to the way she was behaving in her very final moments. The Reddit user wasn’t sure whether cats are even capable of such a thing so they decided to ask the r/NoStupidQuestions community about it.

No one likes goodbyes but they’re pretty much inevitable, they come at the most unexpected times, and no one is ever ready for them no matter how long ago they knew it was going to happen. Some people and animals tend to feel their death approaching, it’s as if their bodies let them know that they’re about to let go and that they no longer can rely on it.

Many pets will be extra friendly towards the end, and it’s lovely to know that they actually acknowledge you as an important part of their lives, either as a friend or even family.
