Woman Notices That Her Cat's Best Friend Was Going To Become Homeless So She Did Everything To Prevent It From Happening

Woman prevents her cat's BFF from losing its home.

A woman's cat named Sir Nick Fury was always more like a dog rather than a cat in his heart. He always loved meeting kids, going on walks, and playing fetch with his favorite ball.

His mom was nervous when taking Nick Fury out on walks in the beginning because she thought he could get in trouble easily. By giving him a pair of bat wings she managed to stop him from squeezing into places that are difficult to get out of.

Giving him the freedom to still walk around freely, but not get stuck in places where she can't really help him out.

When they were out on one of their walks about two years ago, they met Shakira in the woods. Shakira was always a bit more cautious, but Nick had other plans.

He approached her without hesitation as he knew that they would soon become two new best friends. And, as the story continues, she becomes more and more fond of him.

Shelby Hyman aka Nick Fury's mom noted “Shakira was really timid when we first started seeing her, but Nick was persistent. I noticed that as soon as he started wearing his bat wings, she became more curious and far more approachable. I discovered that she loves them!”

“Many times she’d be hiding in the woods or on her patio, and as soon as she’d reveal herself, Nick would trot over to her with his little bat wings flapping and be all chirpy. It was so cute!”, Shelby mentioned

Shakira's owner was well aware of the friendship between her cat and Sir Nick Fury. When she went away for a summer, she even agreed with Shelby to take care of Shakira while she was gone.

After a little while, Shakira's owner got in touch with Shelby that she had to move due to personal health issues and that she was going to give Shakira away to the shelter.

When Shelby found out that Nick Fury was going to be left without his BFF, she knew she had to keep Shakira. She immediately asked Shakira's owner to adopt the cat so the cats would still have each other.

Hyman family and Nick have both fallen in love with Shakira so Shelby couldn't let her go to the shelter. They couldn't say goodbye just like that, so the only option was to welcome her to the family.

Shakira has settled in her new home like she always belonged there. Now, Nick and the whole Hyman family couldn't imagine their lives without her.
