Cute Cat With Fur Markings That Make Him Resemble Zorro Fathers A Mini Version Of Zorro

This cat has gone viral because of his distinctive fur markings

Things go viral online for different reasons, but for this adorable kitten, it was due to his unique markings. The 9-month-old Persian cat exactly resembles the well-known mask-wearing character, Zorro. 

Although he goes by the name Boy, everyone now refers to him as Zorro because of the black fur that surrounds his eyes, giving the impression that he is putting on a face mask, just like the famous movie figure did.

His striking similarity to the masked vigilante is made possible not only by his eyes but also by a black patch on his head and ears that gives the impression that he is putting on a hat. 

Boy, also known online as Zorro, resides in Banjarmasin, Indonesia, with his father, Indraini Wahyudin Noor. The 50-year-old man likes all the cats in his home, but he particularly adores Boy.

After all, the adorable kitten turned him into a viral sensation on TikTok, earning him almost 600K fans. "The cat’s name is Boy, but many people call him Zorro. I have many cats, but this is the only one who has a mask on his face. He’s my favorite cat," the owner, Noor, said.

"He is a very spoiled cat. He always wants to be petted, cuddled, and held. He likes to play a lot, but he hates being bathed each week," he added.

Everyone is calling him Zorro, because of the black fur around his eyes

Zorro is a masked outlaw living in the Spanish colonial era of California. He is the titular main hero of a series of books, comic books, and films of the same name.

Zorro is portrayed as a defender of civilians against the oppressive authorities as well as other villains. American pulp writer Johnston McCulley created the fictional character Zorro in 1919. The man also said that he thinks he looks exactly like Zorro, and he thinks he likes listening to the Zorro song on a regular basis.

Although the 50-year-old man shares his home with several other cats, he loves Boy the most

"People who see him for the first time usually say that he’s unique, cute and how he looks just like Zorro. They even call him the cat thief," Noor added.

Boy, who is less than a year old, already has a son named Bandit, who (you guessed it) resembles a mini version of Zorro. You know, Zorro’s outfit consists of a shirt, pants, a belt, boots, a cape, a mask, and a flat-brimmed hat.

One thing all these costumes have in common is that they are all of the same color – black. 

Whenever he uploads a footage with his cat, he makes sure to play the Zorro movie’s theme tune

Ingrain added that while he never imagined his cat would achieve such online fame, he is more than content with it. He now makes sure to play the theme song from the Zorro movie whenever he uploads a video of his cat.
