A person's love for cats might be quite strong and their actions show it. But are these kinds of deep interactions good for your physical or mental health?

Well, curling up with your cat and rubbing their silky fur after a long, stressful day can be the perfect way to help you decompress. According to scientists, there are three causes for this happy-making behavior.

You are first engaging in positive interaction with an animal. Secondly, while your hand caresses Kitten's fur, you're moving steadily and rhythmically, which is soothing.

Thirdly, you are giving this soothing activity at least some of your attention. In addition to helping our bodies heal, interacting with cats can lower blood pressure, cut the risk of heart attacks, and produce dopamine and serotonin, which help control mood, relieve stress, and boost immunity.

Cats may feel love and affection, but they are not as good at expressing it as people are when it comes to kisses and hugs. They also don't jump up on their favorite humans, lick them, or wag their tails like dogs do. 

Rather, cats express their love vocally, cuddle up on laps, and rub their heads against individuals they adore. This and many more are why the OP loves her cat and wouldn't trade her for anything but now, her aunt is laying claims to her beloved cat.
