Cloning Milestone: New Monkey Species Raises Ethical Questions

"It took me throwing off his blankets and physically dragging him out of bed"
Cats are one of the most popular pets in the world. No doubt, they can be naughty at times, but they learn best when the positive reinforcement technique is used.
It can involve rewarding the desired behavior with a tasty treat, a fun toy, or praise. If you own a cat, you are aware that sometimes it engages in behavior that is less than ideal, such as leaping up on the dining room table that is set for guests, rattling papers to wake you up in the morning, or gnawing and scratching on furniture.
Using a squirt bottle to shoot water at the cat to halt or dissuade them from bad behavior has become a popular technique among cat owners. Due to its widespread use, this approach is seen as a viable solution to issues and a successful way to teach a cat certain behaviors, but in reality, it isn't.
The Redditor in today’s story found another use for his cat’s squirt bottles, and fortunately for him, it worked out well. He chose the story with the AITA subreddit community where he talked about how he was the legal guardian of his 15-year-old nephew.
But then, he always fights to get him up every morning. That is when the squirt bottle came to the rescue, and you can read all about it below.
The post got more than 4K upvotes along with hundreds of comments. Some Redditors had a much worse waking-up story and here are a bunch of their topmost comments below.
Cats don't take punishment well, so people tend to use squirt bottles to house-train them. This Redditor found a good use for it, and Redditors loved the idea, as it appeared he’s not the only one who’s done something like that.
