Online Group Shares 50 Utterly Dark And "Cursed Comments" That'll Leave You Stunned Or Make You Laugh

This mom has no care in the world. All she wants is a new playmate for her son’s killer cat.
Living close to neighbors who have pets can be a heartwarming experience, full of shared animal tales and occasional pet-sitting favors. However, it can also be challenging when those pets pose a threat to your own furry companions.
A Reddit user recently shared a heartbreaking story that highlights the difficulties of such situations.
Our narrator (OP) explained that they had two beloved bunnies, Floppy and Bun, who were allowed to roam freely within their home and backyard. These bunnies were not just pets but emotional support animals that helped OP cope with the darkest moments of their life.
Unfortunately, the stage was set for a tragedy when a neighbor's kid and his cat ventured into OP’s yard. The little boy attempted to introduce his cat to the bunnies, unaware of the potential danger.
Within a split second, the cat attacked one of the rabbits, Bun, killing the furr ball on the spot. OP described their emotional connection to their bunnies as that of a parent and child, so you can imagine how they felt seeing their precious bunny lying lifeless.
Shortly after, the boy’s mother arrived at OP’s house to speak with them. One would expect that she came to offer her apologies, but to OP’s surprise, she requested that they hand over the second bunny so that her son’s cat could play with it.
You best believe that the mom left the house with an earful. Scroll down to find out the full details of the story.
Here’s how the Reddit community reacted to the story:
The Reddit community sympathized with OP for their loss. It’s never easy to get over losing a beloved pet, especially when the pet gets killed in front of you.
One would have expected that the mom would apologize for what her son’s cat did. But it was surprising that she was bold enough to request the second bunny.
As most Redditors have said, the mom deserves to face some kind of punishment. Meanwhile, OP has been advised to childproof their yard and rabbit pen to avoid a similar occurrence in the future.
