We don't usually want to cover all the drama, but today we figured we'd give you the inside scoop on the recent drama between Cardi B and Madonna.

These two singers have become the talk of social media after posting on their personal socials back and forth after Madonna had some things to say about how her music was not accepted as well as female artists nowadays. This whole thing started when Madonna shared that people like Cardi B are praised for their sexually explicit songs and videos, but Madonna was not praised in her time.

This is where the beginning of the drama started and how things escalated.

Madonna came out and shared a post on her social media which stirred up a lot of drama as she name-dropped a few female artists.

As you can see Madonna goes on to explain how she was beaten down after she released her book S.E.X and compared this situation to how other artists are now praised. She dropped the name of female artists Cardi B, Miley Cyrus, and Kim Kardashian.

She has a point in what she's saying, but we can't blame the reaction she got either.

Unfortunately, this stirred up a lot of drama as Cardi B was the first to notice and respond to Madonna's Instagram post.

Here is what Cardi B had to say in response.

Cardi came to Twitter to explain how she felt in response to Madonna's post. She said that she was extremely disappointed in Madonna for saying what she said especially since Cardi B said that she's looked up to Madonna for years.

Cardi B continued on by sharing a screenshot of a Billboard article from 2018.

Here's what she had to say on Instagram about her first time meeting Madonna, "I met my real-life IDOL, Madonna. I can’t even believe I performed at her event and it was the most meaningful performance ever, I grew up with my mom listening to Madonna for hours.

I performed ‘Material Girl' freshman year in High school, listen to her on all my photo shoots to have super confidence, and always mentioned her in my interviews.

The best part about it is she was everything i thought she would be a Liberal Kick ass feminist bitch. I’m so happy.”

Cardi B and Madonna have worked together in the past.

We've even seen times when Cardi B has been inspired by Madonna. One example is when Cardi worse her cone bra which was inspired by Madonna.

The main thing that Cardi B was bothered by was Madonna's tone that she used in her post.

She continued on responding to fans who were trying to calm her down about the post.

She does seem to have a few valid points though that people had to start paying attention to.

She goes on to respond more to her followers that are telling her about the tone of Madonna's message.

Then she continued by posting this.

Turn out that Madonna did in fact see Cardi's tweets.

Cardi B came to Twitter to "squash the beef" by saying she spoke to Madonna and things are fine.
