Burger King Debuts Meatless 'Real Cheeseburger' Loaded With 20 Slices Of Cheese

If you like cheese, you are going to love this...The internet is buzzing over Burger King's new culinary creation, and you'll see why once you lay your eyes on it.

Fast food aficionados have always shown a penchant for cheeseburgers, and despite some gourmet eaters' reluctance to confess, American cheese hits the spot. Nevertheless, the latest member of the fast food giant's lineup, affectionately termed the 'real cheeseburger,' might have you pondering the limits of cheese indulgence.

Debuting in Thailand on Sunday, July 9, the sandwich breaks convention by eschewing meat entirely. Instead, diners are treated to an overwhelming quantity of cheese, precisely 20 slices, as reported by CNN. This 'Ultra Cheeseburger' rings up at 109 Thai baht, which translates to $3.13, a bargain compared to the usual 380 baht ($10.90) price tag.

“This isn't a gag. It's the real deal,” said Burger King in a Sunday Facebook post. According to CNN, cheese is a crowd-pleaser, particularly with younger consumers, and it's a frequent addition to many dishes in Thailand.

The quirky cheeseburger didn't take long to cause a stir on TikTok, as patrons eagerly shared their taste-testing experiences of the peculiar meal. That said, it's not uncommon for fast-food franchises to customize their offerings for various locales.

In Thailand, for instance, customers can opt for salmon katsu burgers as a beef substitute. However, the new "real cheeseburger" takes the food scene to another level.

Color plays a critical role in the branding and marketing strategies of companies, particularly those in the fast-food industry. Two colors that are ubiquitous in this sector are red and yellow, as seen in the logos of McDonald's, Burger King, In-N-Out Burger, and many others.

Red is a color often associated with excitement, passion, and urgency. It's a hue that naturally draws attention, being the most visible color in the daylight.

Psychologists also suggest that red can stimulate hunger and increase heart rate, which makes it a fitting choice for fast-food establishments aiming to attract customers and stimulate impulse buying.

On the other hand, yellow is a color that represents happiness, warmth, and friendliness. It's bright and easily noticeable, even from a distance. Yellow tends to make people feel cheerful and optimistic and is said to stimulate the logical side of the brain, encouraging clear thinking.

Combined with red, it creates an inviting, vibrant, and energetic atmosphere.

On the other side of the globe, in the United States, Burger King is increasing focus on its iconic Whopper, the flame-grilled beef burger.

In May, in conjunction with the launch of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the fast food joint rolled out a themed menu, including a distinctive Whopper outfitted with a crimson bun.
