Family members will often not take it well when you remind them of your boundaries. However, even if it feels uncomfortable, it's an essential step that will ensure your peace of mind. 

A Redditor who goes by the username u/Big-Pomelo-2399 made a post on the r/AmItheA**hole subReddit where she explained how her mother had an extreme reaction after she refused to try on the new bra she bought her in front of her. The user didn't feel comfortable showing her body to her mom, which was not taken well by the mom at all.
