What would you do if you were sent a video of the person you love the most being hurt and humiliated? Well, that's the situation Reddit user u/superstealthyandslik found herself in recently, and she shared the story in the r/relationships subreddit.
The OP explained that she and her boyfriend have been together for four years, and have always been very open with each other. She says that her boyfriend sometimes goes out with friends for drinks, but she has never had any reason to be concerned about it until recently.
The OP received a text message from a number she didn't know. It was a video of her boyfriend at a house party.
He was clearly very drunk, and there was a group of around 15 people that the OP didn't recognize, pushing him around, holding him down, and pouring alcohol into his mouth until he gagged. They held his arms behind his back and kept messing with him until he was in tears and appeared to be physically sick.
The OP says her boyfriend was visibly distressed, and the video made her feel sick. But her boyfriend hasn't mentioned anything about it to her, so she's wondering how she can bring it up to him.
So, the OP turned to the Reddit community for advice. Keep scrolling to see how people reacted.
The Redditor asked for advice on how to talk to her boyfriend about a video she saw of him being harassed at a party.

It's certainly a disturbing situation, and it's understandable that the OP would be worried for her boyfriend's safety. After all, it seems he was assaulted by the people in the video and was visibly distressed from the small clip the OP saw.
