Everyone has a childhood fantasy about two unusual creatures developing a connection and becoming lifelong pals. The following animal connection was probably the exact plot you had in mind if you ever wrote a "book" as a fourth-grader.

Meet Luna, a real black panther who resides in the home of a Russian woman in the woods. Of course, all of this is taking place in Russia as usual.

Being a 250 lb fully grown panther living in captivity, Luna is not only amazing on her own, but she is also best friends with an elderly rottweiler dog who lives on the ranch. Ever since Luna was a small, spotted puff ball, these two have been a pair and have lived together in the woods and in the snow.

Now that Luna is so big, she is a little bit more frightening. But it's obvious that in this relationship, the dog is the one who wears the pants as you'll clearly see below.

They frequently engage in playtime in the woods, with Luna jumping and wall-riding off of every neighboring tree to get a swift pounce on her canine companion. At first glance, one could believe that the dog's days are numbered, yet we all know that they will remain best buddies no matter what.
