Woman Intends To Announce Son's Birth On Social Media, But Baby's Father Has Yet To Reveal Their Expecting Status To His Family

This situation is definitely odd but really she should be able to announce whatever she wants to announce.

We're back again today with yet another awesome Reddit post that we'll be looking at today. This thread is often used to get unbiased opinions and advice from people on a particular situation where they may not want to talk to those in their lives.

We enjoy going over these posts with you all because they usually do have a lot of comments and advice given to the OP from people in the comments. With this being said, we are diving into a post today that was submitted by a woman who wants to post the birth of her child and announce it on social media, but the baby's father hasn't told anyone that they are expecting.

She has mutual friends, which makes her wonder if it is an AH move for her to share this when he hasn't had the chance to tell anyone yet, but people in the comments actually had a lot to say. So she came to Reddit to see if she had the right to do this or if it was very disrespectful to the baby's father.

OP starts off her post with giving us a background on her and her baby's father. This is when she gives ua lot of the backstory and tells us more about what is going on.

This is when she explains the dad's situation and why he won't be there for the birth of his child.

People came to the comments on her post to let her know that she's NTA and that if he doesn't want to be a dad then he doesn't have to be.

People definitely were standing behind her on this but they quickly let her know that she should probably end the relationship because of this situation.

Essentially this is important to remember because obviously his true colors are showing and she's starting to see how he really is.

OP responded to the the comment above and gave her perspective on why she acted this way and decided to keep trying for this family dynamic.

People really were letting her know that this was not okay and that the baby dad should have already been mentally prepared and told his people about it.

People quickly wondered what the dad was thinking and when he was anticipating sharing the baby with his family and friends, but it seems like he had no plans to do so.

Getting some legal help and advice can definitely be necessary in this situation because it seems that there is a lot of miscommunication.

Ultimately, they should have had a conversation about this probably but really she has a right to show off her kid if she wants.

We hope that OP takes some of the advice that they gave her in this situation because she really should be able to show off her child if she wants to. Realistically, we just hope that OP gets what she wants out of this and has a very happy family.
