A fishing boat crew saved a bird that was blown out to sea by strong winds along Maine's coast. It didn't have much chance of surviving, but luckily, Jacob Knowles and his crew were passing by and noticed the poor little animal struggling to stay afloat.
They immediately came to the rescue and pulled it out of the water. When they saw how tired and stressed the bird was, they did their best to make the journey back to the shore as comfortable as possible.
The bird was placed in a warm spot to dry his feathers and a nice complimentary meal.

When the boat got near the coast, the lucky birdy, now with a full belly and dry feathers, happily flew away.
Seeing the bird back where it belongs was the greatest reward for people who'd stopped to save it.
