Father Doesn't Want To Bail His Son Out Because Of His Repeated Mistakes And Terrible Judgement

We're back again today with yet another Reddit post from the AITA thread that was pretty popular and got a lot of comments on it. We often go over these types of posts because they are very entertaining and it allows us to see different perspectives and opinions from people.

A lot of the time, people come here to Reddit to explain their situation so they can get some unbiased opinions on their situation from people without having to get opinions from people that are involved. So with that being said, we're going over a post today that was submitted by a dad who is asking if he's in the wrong for not wanting to bail his son out of jail after all of the choices he's made.

He goes into detail on what his son has done and what's going on with him, why he was even in jail in the first place, but ultimately he just wants to know if his decision makes him TA or not. OP starts off his post with explaining what his son has been doing and what the problems are that he's dealing with.

This is when he explained what was going on, how he ended up in jail, and why they cut off money from him. He goes into the relationship of his wife with his son and gives more of his opinion.

People immediately came to the comments to let him know that ultimately he's NTA for this, but overall he's TA for blaming his wife for all of the parenting things having to do with his son.

This is something that needs to be reflected on as OP because he needs to see what kind of issues there really is whenever it comes to his son.

This comment said things well because they called out everyone in the comments. Ultimately, the last quote stands and it has nothing to do with the way they parented.

Many people also told him to just let his son sit in jail and experience the consequences of their actions.

Parenting is a huge thing and there are a lot of reasons why you may have chose to parent a certain way. However, this person said they are NTA.

It's important to recognize the age of their son because he's not a child and he should definitely know what he's supposed to be doing as an adult.

This is important to remember because parenting can have a huge affect on the kid, but the kid isn't always a reflection of parenting.

This person had a few questions on why he decided to do what he did and why he's blaming his wife. To which he actually put a response which gives us a little more insight.

Well, this was an interesting story. We hope that OP and his wife can get things on the same page when it comes to their son.

I think a lot of people in the comments missed the point of this, and as a 27-year-old, he should be learning his own consequences at this point.
