It's human nature not to notice things that are right in front of our faces. From minor details to the complex structures or infrastructures that surround us every day, we find a way to overlook them.
The city infrastructure in which you live is one such example. My first visit to the city of Manchester, England, changed my perspective on the value of engineers and builders in society.
Our surroundings are made up of a seemingly never-ending and complex web of physical and organizational structures and facilities that make our lives easier, better, and more efficient, from buildings and roads to power supplies and waste management. We are all guilty of dismissing the results of dexterity and creative thinking.
Fortunately, there is an awesome community on Reddit that shares high-quality images of incredible infrastructure from all over the world, from Europe to America and Asia. They show us the respect that this often overlooked aspect of society deserves.
We compiled some of the most interesting examples shared on the subreddit for your enjoyment, so I'll let them take the stage! You have undoubtedly been ignoring these feats of dexterity; after going through our carefully curated complications, you will have a completely different awareness.
