Weather Expert Predicts Seven Years of Freezing Winters Followed By 'Monsoon-like' Flooding For Australia

Veteran weather expert, Dave Taylor, claims that Australia is set for a freezing winter, with each winter getting colder until the year 2025. Taylor argues that snow will fall where it has never fallen before, warning that Australia will need to brace themselves now for the start of a 'mini ice-age'.

Taylor says that a reduction in sun spots is the cause of the cold snap. The longer that sun spot activity is down, the more severe the weather event that occurs once activity picks up. Widespread flooding that is 'worse than Australia has ever experienced' is foreshadowed for the end of the winters, and not something that has ever summed up Australia.

Taylor, forty-seven, has been studying the weather since he was ten years old after a severe storm almost destroyed the caravan that he was living in with his family. He has accurately predicted extreme weather conditions over the past decades, including the recent flooding in Far North Queensland.

Australia is expected to experience a 'very cold winter', with snow falling in places where it has never been recorded before.

According to weatherman Dave Taylor, a reduction in sun spots is the cause of the cold.

Over a period of time, the progressive freezing winters will end with a severe weather event.

"The longer the sun spot activity is down, the worse the weather event becomes when it eventually picks back up".

Taylor thinks there will be snow as far north as Eungella - west of Mackay, Queensland.

The coldest weather - and best snow season - will likely fall in June and July.

Taylor says the period of freezing winters will end with a severe weather event "worse than Australia has ever experienced" - likely severe and 'monsoon-like' flooding.

Taylor also believes it will snow in Tasmania over the weekend, despite expectations for a long summer.
