Artist Fuses Pop Culture Favorites Resulting In 39 Whimsical And Unexpected Characters

As a child, did you ever have a hard time choosing which among your favorite cartoon characters you liked best? It was so, so difficult being torn between who to choose right?

Well now, you don't have to choose between those two characters because this artist found a very unique yet delightful solution! French illustrator Linda Bouderbala's art stems from her love of these childhood animated characters.

Linda was a fan of Dragonball Z and she always tried to mimic the fusion dance but failed to become a Super Saiyan. However, this fusion dance played a major in her art once she decided to mix her favorite characters together.

You can see from her illustrations that she carefully thought about which aspects of each character will show up in the ending image. She managed to create a beautiful and seamless character study of each of the personas.

She considered each of the characteristics of the character, signature styles, their colors as well as their personalities. The results are mesmerizing and amazingly detailed.

She shares her art on her Instagram page and sells some of her prints on her very own website. Each of these fused characters requires a few minutes of inspection so you can fully appreciate the amount of artistry and creativity involved in making them.
