If you were around in 1998, chances are you watched (and loved) the movie 'Armageddon.' It was the traditional, action-packed, and somewhat predictable disaster film of the nineties.

When an asteroid the size of Texas threatened to destroy the earth, a team of oil drillers was put together by NASA to save the world. It was funny, it was scary, and it was also an epic love story.

Oh, and who could forget the theme song? 'I Don't Want To Miss A Thing' by Aerosmith was played on repeat for months after the movie came out.

Starring Ben Affleck, Bruce Willis, and Liv Tyler, the Michael Bay blockbuster is still a cult favorite today. And who can believe it's been 24 years since Armageddon was released? Not me!

We thought it would be fun to check in on the film's all-star cast to see what they've been up to since 1998. We've checked up on them all, from Bruce Willis to Liv Tyler to Ben Affleck to Steve Buscemi, Owen Wilson, and more.

Bruce Willis Then

Bruce Willis' career was at its peak in the nineties. Aside from Armageddon, he starred in films such as The Fifth Element, The Siege, and The Sixth Sense.

Around the time of Armageddon's release, Bruce separated from his wife of 11 years, Demi Moore. The pair had three daughters together; Rumer, Tallulah, and Scout.

Bruce Willis Now

Bruce married Emma Heming Willis in 2009, and the pair have two daughters together; Mabel and Evelyn. Since Armageddon, he has starred in many more popular films, including Death Wish, American Siege, and Survive The Night.

Recently, Bruce sadly announced his retirement. After being diagnosed with aphasia, the star has had to take a step back from his acting career.

Ben Affleck Then

Ben was a big deal in the late nineties. With films like Chasing Amy, Shakespeare In Love, and Good Will Hunting under his belt, Ben's career was soaring.

Ben was dating Gwyneth Paltrow back then. But in the early 2000s, Ben dated Jennifer Lopez, and the pair were engaged for a short time.

Ben Affleck Now

Ben has written, directed, and starred in several blockbuster films since Armageddon. His most recent hits include Deep Water and The Last Duel.

Ben married actress Jennifer Garner in 2005, and they had three children together. However, the pair have since divorced, and Ben has rekindled his romance with Jennifer Lopez.

Liv Tyler Then

Liv starred in popular films That Thing You Do and Empire Records before Armageddon came out. Three years after the hit film, Liv went on the star as Arwen in Lord of the Rings.

Liv dated Joaquin Phoenix for three years. During that time, she became a vegan but went back to eating meat after the pair split up in 1998.

Liv Tyler Now

In 2003, Liv married Royston Langdon. The pair have three children together; Milo, Lula, and Sailor.

Liv has scaled back her acting career somewhat to focus on being a wife and mother. However, she has starred in several films during the 2000s, including Awaken, Wildling, and Ad Astra.

Billy Bob Thornton Then

In 1998, Thornton starred in Homegrown, A Simple Plan, and Primary Colors, as well as Armageddon. He was engaged to Laura Dern at the time; however, he would soon leave her for Angelina Jolie.

Billy Bob Thornton Now

Thornton went on to star in films such as No Time To Die, Bad Santa, and most recently, The Gray Man. He was married to Angelina Jolie from 2000 to 2003 and is currently married to his sixth wife, Connie Angland.

Will Patton Then

Before Armageddon, Will Patton starred alongside Liv Tyler in Inventing The Abbotts. He also appeared in I Woke Up Early The Day I Died, Remember The Titans, and Gone In Sixty Seconds.

Will Patton Now

Will went on to star in the crime drama Shots Fired, Boarding School, Falling Skies, and Halloween. Now 67, Will has never married or had any children.

Owen Wilson Then

Aside from Armageddon, Owen starred in films such as Anaconda, The Minus Man, and The Haunting. Back then, he was dating singer Sheryl Crow.

Owen Wilson Now

Since his role as Oscar in Armageddon, Owen's career has only gotten more successful. Starring in films such as Father Figures, Wedding Crashers, and Wonder, Owen is as popular as ever.

The actor is now 53-years-old and has never married. However, he does have three children; Lyla, Finn, and Robert.

Steve Buscemi Then

Armageddon wasn't the only film Steve Buscemi starred in during the late nineties. He also featured in The Big Lebowski, The Wedding Singer, and Con Air.

In 1994, Steve starred in Airheads with Adam Sandler, and the pair became great friends. At that time, Steve was married to Jo Andres.

Steve Buscemi Now

Steve went on to star in many more hits, including in Boardwalk Empire, Grown Ups, and The Island. He has one son, Lucian, and has since separated from Jo Andres.

Keith David Then

Before Armageddon, Keith David starred in There's Something About Mary. Not long after, he also starred in The Tiger Woods Story.

Keith is also known for voicing several animated characters, such as Apollo in Hercules and Goliath in Gargoyles. Keith is known for his signature deep voice.

Keith David Now

Keith continues to voice multiple cartoon characters. Most recently, he has starred in Adventure Time and Rick and Morty.

Keith has been married to Dionne Williams since 2001. They have two children, Maelee and Ruby.

William Fichtner Then

William Fichtner was well-known in the nineties for his roles in films such as Contact, Heat, and of course, Armageddon. He was married to Betsy Aidem at the time.

William Fichtner Now

More recently, William has starred in several films such as 12 Strong and Finding Steve McQueen. He also has a recurring role in the comedy TV series Mom.

William separated from Betsy Aidem in 1996, and he married Kymberly Kalil in 1998. William has two children, Vangel and Sam.

Peter Stormare Then

Peter Stormare starred in The Big Lebowski alongside his Armageddon costar Steve Buscemi in 1998. He also starred in Fargo, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and was featured in an episode of Seinfeld.

Peter Stormare Now

Peter went on to voice Lord Dregg in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and starred in films such as The Last Stand, 22 Jump Street, and Songbird. He was married to Karen Sillas until 2006 before marrying Toshimi Stormare in 2008.

Michael Clarke Duncan Then

Michael Clarke Duncan starred in several films around the same time as Armageddon. He was best known for his roles in The Green Mile and A Night At The Roxbury.

Michael Clarke Duncan Now

Sadly, Michael Clarke Duncan passed away in 2012 after suffering a heart attack. His last film was The Challenger.

It's great to see that most of the stars have continued to flourish in their careers. But incredibly sad that others such as Michael Clarke Duncan have since passed away.
