Creative people have different ways of expressing emotions, thoughts, and other things that have a significant connection with their lives. Some might do it by writing songs, poems, dancing, and just like how the artists do in their works, they not only arouse curiosity among their viewers but also communicate the story behind each masterpiece they produce.
John Bustillos, a gifted Filipino artist now residing in Dallas, Texas, was born and raised in the Philippines. He came up with the idea around 2020 and named it " I Need Floofy Hugs", which is an "exaggerated" retelling of his real-life experiences, a chronicle of the things he's encountered.
Many individuals may identify with the funny depictions of life's challenges that John creates in his artwork. To better understand and overcome his own difficulties with anxiety and despair, the artist highlighted his strong support for mental health awareness in his writings and claimed that this is one of his main motivations for writing about these topics. Instead of celebrating people's hardships. "I Need Floofy Hugs" is a call for love, camaraderie, and the end-of-the-day floofy hug.
This is a good read, especially when you feel alone, as it shows the perspective of others, and they are able to survive like you. You can scroll down and discover the relatable comics created by this wonderful artist.
