Americans React With Shock & Horror After Finding Out The Rest Of The World Doesn't Refrigerate Eggs
Americans are funny, because some things won't shock them one bit (like reality stars becoming President, or gun-violence) but then they'll literally meltdown after hearing not everyone refrigerates eggs.

I'll be blunt. Americans are kinda funny, because some things won't shock them one bit (like reality stars becoming President, or gun-violence) but then they'll literally meltdown after hearing not everyone refrigerates eggs.
Yes, you read that correctly. Americans are shocked and shook because they found out this week that in most other countries in the world, people keep their eggs on the kitchen counter or in the pantry, not in the fridge.
TikToker Mauren Sparrow broke it down on TikTok, with a detailed video highlighting the science behind the refrigeration of eggs in the USA in what is now a now viral video.
Check out the video screenshots and reactions below.

The internet of course reacted

People from other countries also chimed in - Like this internet user from the UK.

As well as discussion about the protective layer on eggs that is often removed too soon.

And of course chicken and egg farming practices in the US were called into question (and rightfully so).

Owning your own chickens seems like the way to go!

I don't live in Mexico, but I agree with this guy.

Interesting info to keep it mind but a cool kitchen hack!
