Freezing Kittens Abandoned On The Side Of The Road Rescued By Father And Son While Driving Home From Work

This father and son tandem sure are angels for saving these cats from the freezing cold.

Tales of animals getting saved by humans or even by their fellow animals are certainly the most heartwarming stories you would ever hear or read, and it never gets old. People have long established a certain connection with animals, but amazing interactions between them are still magical as ever.

This was again proved to be true when a father and son tandem discovered something unusual while driving home from work. They have heard some complaints about huge mounds of snow blocking an area of a road near their home, so they went out to check it.

Right then and there, they spotted something on the side of the road, placed so well as if they were meant to see it. It was still camouflaged, though, so the father and son had no idea what to expect at first.

It was covered in snow so they decided to take a closer look. It was a white box, and there seemed to be a trail of tracks around it.

They felt intrigued, so naturally, they approached the box. And boy, they were in for a surprise!

But what they saw broke their hearts, for the box contained two kittens that already seemed freezing and sick because of the cold.

This was the sight they stumbled upon.

It was fortunate enough that it was discovered, even if the box was not that visible from afar.

When they peered inside the box, their hearts broke at the sight of a cat that was already obviously suffering.

They were intentionally abandoned, but the person that left them was merciful enough to leave two small bowls of food and a blanket. Still, the cat was freezing and sick already.

They took a closer look and discovered that there were actually two cats left abandoned inside the box, and they felt remorseful.

The father and son pondered on why would someone do this to these innocent animals. Who knows how long they have already been there?

This was the sight of the road where they discovered the box and the kittens.

It sure seems like they are in the middle of nowhere, what with the absence of houses or any establishments nearby. The original owner truly left the cats to meet their own demise.

They were kind enough to provide a home for the abandoned kittens.

They started to nurse them back to health. This one was the one they noticed as the second kitten in the box, and he looks visibly a lot healthier than the other one.

This cat's the one they first noticed in the box, and he sure does need a little bit more help than his companion. Fortunately, the father and son that discovered them seem to be committed to nursing these poor creatures fully back to health.

What can you say about this heartwarming story? It's truly a fortunate thing that these cats were discovered before it was too late!

The father and son tandem is certainly godsent for them, and we are all thankful for it. After all, who could leave such innocent creatures and let them face their own demise?
