2020 is different than years before it. Our view of scary has changed so much. We are currently living out one of our greatest fears, and somehow all the spooky stuff doesn’t seem too spooky anymore.
We need to raise Halloween to a different level and get pretty darn creative to think of something that may look frightening to people who are living in the times of the Coronavirus pandemic.
You might say that this year is one long Halloween night. We have compiled a list of the best, funniest, and the spookiest Halloween decorations. We know you are going to enjoy it.

martyzMiranda Enzor, a writer and creator of the “Spooky Little Halloween” blog, says that this year, like every year before it, recent events are a prevalent choice for Halloween decorations.
The coronavirus pandemic becoming one of the main themes isn’t really a surprise. “People see it as a way to weave a bit of commentary or humor into an otherwise difficult situation.”
Recycling and reusing the items you already have is always popular. Some people even mix Christmas and Halloween decor. “The small ceramic tree that was so popular in 2019 and returned in 2020 is a perfect example. I think Halloween lovers enjoy the chance to Halloweenify decor from other holidays and make it their own.”
Miranda explained that the main thing about Halloween decorations is about mixing eerie and silly. “Depending on how you celebrate it, Halloween can be a lighthearted, fun, and even silly holiday. I like seeing people have fun with their decor in this way.”
