The '80s were unarguably an iconic period—and it helps that shows such as Stranger Things have helped us dive back into that nostalgic time and doing it so almost flawlessly. A lot of trends nowadays, especially in pop culture, have definitely been derived out of something from this decade—music, cars, TVs, shows, video games, etc.
This decade was definitely far from being boring, what with all the neon clothing, booming big hair, flashy headbands, loud—and we mean loud music, jazzy dances and exercises, eccentric clothing, and bold makeup looks. There was no room for dull and boring in this decade because the trends back then were definitely hard to resist!
The list will just go on and on in an endless loop if we keep trying to enumerate all the best and interesting things in the '80s, but if there's one thing that the girls were definitely obsessed with back then in this decade, it's the fashion and beauty trends that they kept begging their moms to buy them. Everything in the '80s was big, heavy, dark, and trendy, and sure enough, makeup and beauty products caught on to that.
Now, lo and behold, it's been three decades since you last begged your mom to buy these things, but even if how many years have passed, there's no denying that they are still iconic!

This "magic" lipstick came in a shocking green hue, but it works perfectly fine as a normal pink lipstick. Of course, it didn't really change colors according to your mood, but at least it did make us feel pretty when we used them.
Pinterest9. Press-on Nails
Back when some women had no time to sit through a manicure session, press-on nails were a gift from the heavens. They enjoyed being able to customize their nails quickly to match any outfit!
